Finally found a use for my blog, so here it is: Freckle story #1

The little girl, Hannah woke up on a grey monday morning,
'mumm', she said 'what are these brown dots all over my face?'
'The're called freckles Hannah, they're sun kisses' her mum replied smiling, and ruffling her hair
'Oh', the girl replied, wrinkling her nose in the mirror, still confused.

***********************************************

Hannah slid slowly out of the car...she didn't want to go in to the large building in front of her, Elwood's primary school.
'Come on Hannah, out you get! I've got to get to work, now have a good day and make lots of friends!', her mum smiled as she slammed the door behind Hannah and whizzed off down the road, with a stream of smoke Hannahs saw her mum's car disappear around the corner.

************************************************

She smiled as she walked over to the friendly looking woman stood by the gates...frizzy blonde hair, and large round glasses perched on her nose.
'...its my frist day...', she explained queitly
The woman smiled at Hannah, and called a girl called Monica over...soon a tubby child was waddling her way towards Hannah...already out of breath and a chocolate bar in her hand, she smiled....but as she got closer, she backed away.
'whats wrong....?' Hannah asked nonplussed,
'Youve got funny dots on you... why??'
Hannah soon realised that tubby...Monica, meant her freckles, she lowered her head, then, remebering what her father had told her the night before, 'don't be afraid Hannah, always be confident and proud of yourself', raised her head and replied:
'there special sun kisses actually', she smiled,
The fat girl laughed, a harsh horrible laugh, her round belly rippling and red cheeks jiggling, the sight quite disgusted Hannah. Once the fat had stopped rippling, and the cheeks a' jiggling, the girl took a step closer, and smiled.

***********************************************

'Hannah, i presume?'
'Yes miss', came a dull and sad reply from the girl skulking into the room, head burried in a pink and white scarf,
'well come here and get your book then....oh my gosh! What is that all over your face?', for Hannah had raised her head, and the teacher had seen lines that were drawn all over Hannah's face, dot to dot to dot to dot.
'Go and wash that off immediately...honestly drawing stupid dots and lines all over one's face...where has that child come from!' She said to the class at large, as Hannah left the room to clean her face. Fatty in the corner was jiggling again.

**********************************************

Hannah thrusted the handwritten letter into her mother's lap as she climbed hurriedly into the car, it was raining, Hannah's hair was stuck to her face, and her tights were stuck to her legs like peel to an orange.
Her mum looked worried, as she turned the key in the ignition, and chucked the piece of paper back at Hannah.
'I can't read it now , Its ruined because of the weather, Ill call the school when we get home.'

*********************************************

'Mmmm....yes i understand, mm it is woryying for the other children, yes i understand that....well has she made any friends?...No?...Hmm ....no..well yes...okay, yes, yes I understand'
Hannah then heard the phone being slammed back down, 'HANNAHHHHH' her mother wailed,
she trundled into the room, her mums face looked red and puffy, like she'd been crying, she sniffed quickly, kneeled down to Hannah's hieght , smiled and stroked Hannah's face saying 'Darling, you have a new...special uniform'

********************************************

Hannah was crying the next morning as her mum pulled up to the building that she detested already,
'Mum....please I can't go in like this!....Please...'
'Hannah, sweetheart, your teacher said this would help, people will be ncier to you today I promise', she smiled at Hannah.
but hannah knew it wasn't a true smile, her mother looked heart broken, and sad, she was worn out, Hannah knew it was because of her, so she picked up the large brown bag...and popped it on her head....she didn't need to fake a smile, for no-one could see her face.
She took a deep breath, and opened the car door...it was still raining, as Hannah stepped out of the car, and into a puddle.
